SMALL CHALLENGES, DIFFERENT SKILLS
Six ways to explore the library. These describe what the activities ask you to do, not proven improvements in eyesight.
DEPTH PERCEPTION
Random-Dot Pop asks you to spot a shape using stereo cues. It offers depth-discrimination practice with compatible anaglyph glasses; it is not a clinical stereoacuity test.
BINOCULAR COORDINATION
Binocular Match and Dichoptic Maze split visual information between color channels. Match shapes or guide a marble using information presented to both eyes, with suitable glasses and display settings.
TRACKING & ATTENTION
Follow moving targets, find letters among distractors and notice peripheral flashes. These tasks practice target selection and visual attention through short, varied rounds.
MEMORY & PATTERN RECOGNITION
Tasty Tiles Memory asks you to recall sequences; matching activities ask you to distinguish patterns. Playful tasks give your routine variety without a separate game purchase.
MONOCULAR PRACTICE
Monocular Focus asks you to find stars among distractions or skip an empty field. Use patching mode only as directed by your eye-care professional; the game does not prescribe which eye to cover or for how long.
COMFORT & ROUTINE
Bates-inspired detail shifting offers letters, dots and attention variations, alongside scheduled breaks. These are comfort routines, not proven ways to reverse refractive error or stop needing glasses.
02 / MAKE SPACE FOR A ROUTINE
The daily planner counts completed active practice and keeps rest separate. Your history helps you see what you played and discuss it with your eye-care professional.
The default 30-minute target is a software setting, not a prescription or a guarantee of improvement. Adjust practice with professional guidance.
03 / YOUR PRACTICE, ON YOUR PC
Activities run on your PC and progress records stay local. Internet is required for subscription checks during play. Optional cloud AI, online media and other connected features have separate internet and data-sharing requirements.
Local data is not encrypted by the app. Back up your records and protect access to your computer.

BEFORE YOU START
No. Clinical safety, effectiveness and regulatory status have not been established. VisionPlay must not replace diagnosis, prescribed care or professional eye examinations. Its home checks record informal observations, not diagnoses.
They are comfort and attention routines, including shifting and swinging variations. They are not proven to reverse refractive error or remove the need for glasses.
Binocular activities use separate color channels and require compatible anaglyph glasses. Other activities have different requirements. Follow setup guidance and discuss suitability with your eye-care professional.
Game access ends when your paid Gumroad membership ends. Saved progress, reports and settings remain accessible. Cancel recurring billing through your Gumroad receipt or membership page; removing the app does not cancel billing. The app checks membership status online during play. Cancellation keeps access until the effective date reported by Gumroad.
Suitability should be discussed with a qualified eye-care professional. A parent or caregiver should supervise children. Stop practice if there is pain, dizziness, persistent double vision or unusual discomfort.

Profiles may contain names, age, eye-related details you enter, practice results, observations, preferences and support drafts. The installed app stores JSON files in the data folder beside VisionPlay.exe. Browser storage also holds preferences and progress. These files and exported backups are not encrypted by VisionPlay. Other people or software with access to your Windows account may read them. Prefer a nickname and enter only information you need.
Optional webcam face/hand tracking processes frames locally; this tracking feature does not upload frames. Browser speech recognition may send microphone audio to the browser provider; adult users receive a confirmation before starting. Speech recognition and cloud Buddy chat are blocked for profiles under 18 or without a valid adult age. Profile age is self-reported; this is not verified parental consent. Optional voice-reference recordings are stored locally and can be deleted in voice settings. Browser speech synthesis may use a browser or operating-system voice service.
Cloud Buddy chat is off by default. Enabling it requires explicit agreement and applies only to adult profiles. OpenRouter and the selected model provider receive questions, recent chat history and practice statistics. Profile name, age and eye-side fields are omitted from generated context, but typed messages can still identify you or disclose health information. Their own retention and processing policies apply. Turn cloud chat off in Settings to stop future requests. Your API key is stored locally and may appear in a full backup. Do not share it.
External videos, imported remote content, network co-op, optional configured sync and external links contact their hosts, which may receive your IP address and request information. Shared exports may contain health-related details. Use local video files to avoid contacting media hosts. Email contacts your email provider and the support mailbox. In-app support drafts alone are not transmitted. Gumroad processes payments on its website. The app sends your license key and product ID to Gumroad over HTTPS during activation and periodically during play. Gumroad receives your IP address; practice records are not sent for these checks. Internet is required. Your key is stored locally and may appear in a full backup; keep it private.
Data stays until you delete it. Deleting a profile through Profiles removes its profile/session records. Settings, support drafts, voice recordings, browser storage and exported copies may remain. To remove all installed-app data, close VisionPlay, back up anything needed, then delete its adjacent data folder and clear the app's browser site data. Uninstall intentionally preserves the data folder. Delete exported copies separately; recipients retain their own copies. Never send a full backup to support without removing sensitive information and API keys.
A caregiver should manage children's profiles and avoid online features that disclose their information. Blocking child-profile cloud chat is a technical safeguard, not certification of compliance with children's privacy laws. Review for actual users and sales countries remains required. Do not use this release for diagnosis, treatment decisions or emergency care.
Email the address above for privacy questions or access/deletion requests concerning information you sent to support. We cannot access or delete files held only on your computer. Contacting support is optional; omit medical details, passwords and payment-card information. Future data-processing changes require an updated notice. This copy is available offline.
